Massachusetts' ABDUCT.EXE formed in late 2022 with members from several projects, including As the Sun Sets and Edict. After a few lineup changes, the band honed an increasingly aggressive sound delivering fast, obnoxious powerviolence with heavy slams, themselves citing Slayer, Björk, and Cursed as key influences. That intensity is on full display across the band's three-song demo, recorded live in December 2025 by Jared M at Distorted Forest in Rhode Island. The dissonant guitar work also brings to mind the chaotic edge of Discordance Axis. Lyrically, Abduct.exe takes aim at social inequality and economic hardship. Today ABDUCT.EXE join forces with Dark Manor Records to unleash their debut full album on tape.
