FESTERING EXPLOSION was founded in 2006 by Sergio Sanches in São José dos Campos (SP, Brazil). After years of playing in various bands throughout the 1990s—projects that ultimately dissolved due to internal conflicts and a lack of commitment—it became clear that finding musicians fully dedicated to extreme music was increasingly difficult. Faced with this reality, there were only two choices: abandon the passion or carry it forward alone. FESTERING EXPLOSION was born from the decision to continue, uncompromising and driven by devotion to extreme sound.
